Abstract

Sumatera Utara's economic growth measured by the increase in Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) on the basis of constant prices in 2010 in the third quarter of 2018 compared to the third quarter of 2017 (year on year) increased by 5.43 percent. The highest growth in the information and communication business was 7.94 percent, followed by corporate services at 6.90 percent and providing accommodation and drinking meals at 6.82 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was in the component of LNPRT consumption expenditure which grew by 13.27 percent.
